When Paradise Palms and Sunset Shores rent together, the connecting door opens and you have the whole ground floor of the building. Four bedrooms. Two baths. Two full kitchens. Three living areas. One patio that runs the back length of the building.

It’s the suite for the trip where everyone wants their own room but nobody wants to walk across a parking lot to find each other.

The connecting door

The connecting door sits between the two living rooms. When you book the combined listing, we unlock it before you arrive. The door has its own lockset on each side for privacy when everyone wants to retreat to one half.

Pool and parking

The pool is shared with Tropical Tides on the second floor. We heat it as needed when units are occupied. When you book the combined unit, you have the entire ground floor of the building — and the pool deck is right outside.

You get four off-street parking spots (two per suite). Tight for a 12-guest stay; coordinate carpooling if you’re bringing more than four cars.

Combined unit sits on the West End of Panama City Beach. Same property, same beach access, same views as the individual suites.

House rules

• Maximum 12 guests (combined listing only — individual suites cap at 6)
• Check-in 3:30 PM, check-out 11:00 AM. Smart-lock codes arrive the morning of arrival.
• The combined listing must be one party. We do not split it between unrelated groups.
• No parties or events. Quiet hours 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• No smoking inside the suites or on the pool deck.
• No pets — none of our suites are pet-friendly at this time.
• Connecting door is unlocked for the duration of your stay.

Frequently asked

Is the combined listing always available? Only when both Paradise Palms and Sunset Shores are open. If either has been booked separately, the combined listing isn’t available for those dates.

Can we split the combined listing between two unrelated parties? No. Combined is one party. If you’re traveling with another group that wants their own space, book Tropical Tides upstairs as a third option — they sleep 6 there.

What about the connecting door — will I hear my partner’s family next door? The door has solid construction and locks on both sides. With it locked, sound transmission is minimal. With it unlocked (and it’ll be unlocked during your stay), the units flow as one space.

Do you charge a higher cleaning fee for the combined unit? Yes — $250 vs $135 for an individual suite. A 12-guest stay generates more turnover work than a 6-guest stay; this covers the actual labor.

Is there a minimum stay for combined bookings? Three nights peak summer, two nights shoulder, four nights for holiday weekends.

What about minimum age? The lead booker must be 25+. We screen bookings of 8+ guests with a phone or video call before confirming.

Can we get the pool to ourselves? The pool is shared with Tropical Tides upstairs. If Tropical Tides is unbooked the same week, you have it to yourself — but we don’t guarantee that. The deck is large and the layout means Tropical Tides guests don’t crowd you.

Big group discount? The combined rate is already discounted from the sum of the individual nightly rates. There’s no further discount for groups.

Wedding party — okay? Yes, with caveats. We’ve hosted wedding-overflow parties before. We require a phone call with the lead booker, the same quiet-hours rules apply, and we ask for a security deposit increase ($1,000 instead of $500) for groups of 10+ that are wedding-related.
