Sundial Suites is committed to making sundialsuites.com and our property at 318 Sundial Street as accessible as we reasonably can. Below is what we’ve done, what we’re working on, and how to reach us if we missed something.
The website
We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA compliance on sundialsuites.com. Specifically:
- Color contrast meets AA standards on body text and headings
- Photos have descriptive alt text
- Forms are keyboard-navigable and labeled for screen readers
- The booking flow works without a mouse
- Page layouts adapt to screen size and zoom level
- A skip-to-content link is available at the top of each page
We test the site against an accessibility checker before publishing changes. If you find something that doesn’t work for you, please tell us.
The property
318 Sundial Street is a low-rise multi-unit residential building. Two suites (Paradise Palms and Sunset Shores) are ground-level with one threshold step at the front door. Tropical Tides is second-story and accessed by a single flight of exterior stairs.
What’s not currently accessible:
- The second-story suite (Tropical Tides) does not have an elevator or stair lift
- The pool deck has a single step from the parking lot side
- Bathroom showers are walk-in but do not have grab bars
What is accessible:
- Two off-street parking spots per suite, both within 30 feet of the suite door
- Single-level layout in Paradise Palms and Sunset Shores once inside
- Wide doorways throughout (32 inches or more)
- Lever-style door handles on the suite doors
- Smart-lock entry, no keys to manage
If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us before booking and we’ll talk through what we can offer. We’d rather know in advance than have you arrive and find a problem.
What we’re working on
Adding bathroom grab bars in Sunset Shores (the renovated suite) is on the list. We’re also evaluating a portable pool lift for the deck.
