Sundial Suites / PCB Guide / Restaurants
Restaurants
The places we send guests to first. Organized by where you are on the map.
This is the actual list. The places we send Sundial guests to first. We have lived three minutes from this property for long enough to know which ones we still go to.
If you only have time for one thing on your first trip, walk to Mike’s Seafood. Two minutes from your suite door. The fish sandwich is the move.
Walking distance from Sundial
Mike’s Seafood
The closest real meal to your suite. Walk out the door, turn the corner, you are there. Casual, no-pretense seafood. The fish sandwich is what we order. Beer. Friendly staff. This is the one we tell every guest about first.
Salty Sue’s
The other walking option from Sundial. Easy stroll, casual feel, the kind of place you end up at because you do not want to drive. Worth knowing about before you arrive.
Worth driving for
Schooners
The oldest beach bar in PCB. Picnic tables in the sand, live music most nights in season, fried seafood baskets, sunsets that put themselves on a postcard. It is a longer drive than it sounds from Sundial (closer to 20 minutes than to “just down the road”), but worth the trip at least once.
Firefly
The nicer pick for a real dinner. Bigger wine list, the kind of menu that has thought put into it. Make a reservation in season. Good for couples or for the night you want to dress up a little.
Boondocks
Worth the drive. Marina-side, casual, the kind of spot where you might watch a boat pull up. Excellent food. Tell Reanna you are going if you want her tips on what to order.
The Craft Bar
Good craft cocktails and a real menu, not just bar food. Better than most “craft” places in PCB. Date-night or grown-up-meal territory.
Idyll Hounds Proper
Worth the longer drive into 30A. Phenomenal food. Excellent beer. If you are doing a 30A day trip anyway, build a meal here into the back end of the day.
What we are not listing (yet)
PCB has dozens of restaurants we have eaten at. Some are fine, some are tourist traps, some have closed since the last time we ate there. Rather than list every spot in town and risk sending you to a place that has changed hands or shut down, we keep this list short and updated.
If you want a specific recommendation not covered here, text Reanna at (360) 865-9888 and she will give you the live answer.
The simple ordering
Walking from Sundial: Mike’s Seafood, then Salty Sue’s.
Short drive worth it: Boondocks, The Craft Bar.
Drive a little farther: Firefly, then Schooners if you want the classic PCB beach-bar experience.
30A drive once during your stay: Idyll Hounds Proper.
That covers a week of dinners without repeating yourself.
