Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise — a two-hour pirate-themed cruise with water-cannon battles and treasure hunts. Kids talk about it for the rest of the trip.
Smuggler’s Cove Mini Golf — the pirate-themed mini golf on Front Beach Road, a reliable evening after dinner. Two courses, live gators to look at, no meltdowns.
Most of these are a 10 to 15 minute drive east from the West End, so you can string a couple together in an afternoon.
Why the West End beaches are better for young kids
