Sundial Suites / PCB Guide / Events This Weekend
Events This Weekend
Live music, fireworks, festivals. Updated weekly by Reanna.
Panama City Beach has a real annual event calendar. Some are huge regional draws (Gulf Coast Jam, Pirates Fest). Some are smaller and local (Mardi Gras, Scottish Festival). Reanna updates the live “what’s on this weekend” section every Sunday during peak season.
For the live week-by-week version (live music venues, farmers markets, what is happening tonight), check visitpanamacitybeach.com/events or text Reanna at (360) 536-3365. The list below covers the big annual draws.
The big 2026 events to plan around
PCB Mardi Gras & Music Festival
Two-day Mardi Gras celebration with parades, music, and the local twist on the New Orleans tradition. Smaller than the actual New Orleans Mardi Gras, friendlier for families.
PCB Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival
Self-explanatory. Big draw if you are in town that weekend.
UNwineD
Two-day garden party with wine, beer, and spirit tastings plus food samples from local chefs and restaurants. Custom cocktails, art vendors, concert series. The food is the move; the wine is fine.
PCB Scottish Festival & Highland Games
Kilts, caber tosses, bagpipes, the whole thing. Quirky local event. Worth showing up to if you are in town that weekend.
Emerald Coast Boat & Lifestyle Show
Boats, marine gear, coastal-lifestyle vendors. For people who are into the boat/fishing scene.
Gulf Coast Jam
The biggest annual event in PCB. Four-day country music festival at Frank Brown Park. 2026 headliners include Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, Riley Green, and Post Malone. Book a Sundial stay early if you want to be here this weekend — the whole West End fills up.
Pirates of the High Seas & Renaissance Fest
The Mardi Gras of PCB. Long weekend of pirate-themed events: parades, sword fights, treasure hunts, fireworks on the beach, mermaid shows, fire circus, Cirque Adventure. Family-friendly. Kids love it.
Visit Panama City Beach New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop
PCB’s twist on Times Square. A giant beach ball drops at midnight on Pier Park. Family-oriented, smaller and friendlier than big-city NYE events.
What is on weekly during peak season
Live music: Schooners (West End) and other beach bars run live music most nights from spring through fall. Reanna keeps the current rotation in the welcome book on your kitchen counter.
Farmers markets: The Rosemary Beach Sunday Farmers Market (15 minutes east on 30A) is a weekly highlight in peak season. Local produce, baked goods, coffee, kids running around the green.
Sunset on the beach: Not a scheduled event, but it happens every night and it is the consistent ritual. Walk to the public access at the end of Sundial Street, sit in the sand, bring a drink in a koozie.
